Quick, Fast and Powerful Camp and Combine
Come and Compete… Sunday, February 11th, 2018 from 1pm to 6pm at the Chris Cline Athletic Complex at Marshall University!
How good are you at your sport of choice? How do you compare to others your age? What areas do you need to work on to get faster, stronger, and more agile so you can improve?
These are the questions that every young athlete should be asking themselves. These are the questions coaches should be asking their players. Whether you are in grade school sports, middle school sports, or high school athletics, you need to find out your areas of strength and weakness.
Athletes and coaches… now you have an opportunity to measure yourself at the Hoops Family Children’s Hospital’s second annual YOUTH SPORTS COMBINE presented by Marshall Sports Medicine Institute. The combine will take place on the field inside the Chris Cline Athletic Complex at Marshall University.
Registration is capped at 300! Bring your cleats and tennis shoes.
Bring your athletic gear… sport shorts, running shoes, sweat pants, and sports bands. Wear your school colors. Show up for this unique opportunity to work out on Marshall’s indoor practice facility. Compete against other athletes across the region. See how your scores measure up nationally. You can also compare your scores to professional athletes.
According to Shawn Bastin, the Executive Director of the Marshall Sports Medicine Institute, “This is a fantastic way for athletes to see where they are strong, where they need work, and how they compare to others their age. If you are an athlete you need to come down and compete in this combine. You will love the experience, learn a few things, and walk away knowing what you need to improve to make yourself more competitive. Plus… working out on the indoor field at the Chris Cline Athletic Complex at Marshall University is a unique experience.”
Registration is $25 per athlete. When you register, you will receive the following:
