Cabell Huntington Hospital Presents the McDonald’s Tri-State Criterium
Visit Downtown Huntington for Activities and Family Fun
Saturday, June 3rd, downtown Huntington’s Pullman Square is going to be full of racing action, activities and outdoor fun. The 7th annual McDonald’s Tri-State Criterium will kick off at 3 p.m.!
What’s a Criterium? It is a premiere bicycle race sanctioned by USA Cycling, which will attract racers from far and wide. Racers will compete on a specially designed, spectator friendly road course around Pullman Square. There’s fast-paced action as racers speed by within arms’ reach of the rails!
You and your kids will find yourself cheering on racers as they whizz past. Following the race, make sure to get a photo or an autograph with your favorite cyclist!
There is more to this day than cycling, though. McDonald’s and presenting sponsor Cabell Huntington Hospital will transform Pullman Square into the community event of the year! This is a day in downtown Huntington that you won’t want to miss!
Join us on race day for the following:
- Kids Fun Ride- have your child bring his/her bike and helmet to participate in the Fun Ride!
- Two youth bike giveaways- enter to win at the McDonald’s tent!
- Huntington YMCA “Kids In Motion” interactive exercise display
- A visit from Ronald McDonald
- Additional vendor booths in the Fan Zone
In addition to friendly competition between cyclists, the McDonald’s Tri-State Criterium is a fundraiser for Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Tri-State, located just behind Cabell Huntington Hospital. Over $5,000 has been raised to benefit the Huntington House since the first Criterium!
