First Annual Helping Haiti Meal Packaging Event

Helping Haiti Meal Packaging EventPack a Meal, change a life!

In the present times with wanting to know how to give back to those in the Caribbean and impoverished countries, there is a great event that will allow you to show your support coming soon right here in Huntington. The first annual “Helping Hati Meal Packing Event” will take place Saturday, September 30, 2016 at Pullman Square, Sponsored by Missio Dei Church and Pleasant Valley Hospital.

This event is one the whole family can get involved with, businesses and co-workers, church groups and the list goes on. The day will have 5 different 90 minute time slots to register for packing meals: 9am, 10:30am, Noon, 1:30pm or 3pm. Each person attending is asked to give a $20 minimum donation to cover the cost of the food and shipping costs per time slot that they will be participating in the packing.

The event benefits Lifeline Christian Mission and the packaged meals will be sent not only to Hati but other countries in need around the world. With all the devastation from the recent hurricanes affecting the Caribbean what better way to give back and be involved by packaging meals to help those in some of the hardest hit areas. Lifeline Christian Mission oversees meal packaging events as well as other outreach opportunities to the Caribbean and worldwide.
