The Cabell Huntington Hospital Auxiliary is set to open its brand new gift shop , “An Added Touch”, next week in their new larger retail space. The grand opening will take place on June 11th and include a ribbon cutting to officially open the store. The gift shop is staffed by volunteers of the CHH Auxiliary. The money that’s earned from gift shop sales is then donated to various hospital projects by the CHH Auxiliary. “An Added Touch” carries items such as unique gift items, toiletries, snacks and candy, reading items, flowers, baby gifts and so much more.
As a result of announcing the relocation of the store, many people have voiced their excitement over the grand opening in a larger location. One such individual is the President of Cabell Huntington Hospital Auxiliary, Mozelle Medcalf, “The Auxiliary is delighted and looking forward to the opening of “An Added Touch”, our new gift shop. Our new shop will enable us to not only service our employees and visitors to the hospital, but the community as well,” said Medcalf.
The grand opening of the new location will provide customers with a much easier route in order to obtain goods.
The gift shop was originally located on the ground floor of the atrium, but it will now be located at the front entrance of the hospital. This will provide customers with a better opportunity to see the items that are sold and have quick access being at the very front of the hospital. The hours will remain the same as they were in the atrium. “An Added Touch” will be open Monday through Thursday: 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., Friday: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday: 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday: noon to 5 p.m..
